Get a better understanding on the business context, operating space and key considerations.  This phase is about obtaining more information.


When should this Phase be Done

Anytime when more information needs to be obtained.   Phase can be repeated at will during the lifecycle of any initative.  Thought should be given so that things are not over-discovered.  Not less, not more just adequate.


What will signify the end of this Phase

Whenever a reasonable amount of information is obtained and/or the checklist can be successfully completed.


What is involved in this Phase

Iteratively doing business discovery, some tactical probing and assessment of the discovered results.
